With Frontpoint’s new brand identity, the home security company released a series of videos to simply explain their wireless and cellular system, service packages and overall approach to customer service.
In the “How It Works” video, Mike shows viewers how elements of the Frontpoint security system work together. Starting with the wireless sensors placed in critical areas to detect motion, whether it be a door opening or a window breaking, he then shows how they connect to the main control panel, which sends secure alerts to their 24/7 monitoring center via cellular signal.
A Frontpoint home security system can be controlled from smartphone or tablet apps and mobile remotes, and system alerts can be sent while away from home. A home’s video feed from both indoor and outdoor cameras can be checked from these apps and is transmitted over WiFi, while optional home automation features, such as controlling door locks, turning on and off lights, and adjusting the thermostat, can be integrated in the Frontpoint security system as well.
To comically explain their “crash and smash” protection, available as part of two of their home security packages, Mike wields an oversized mallet, crushing the main control panel, to demonstrate that situations that result in damaging this panel still send a signal to the monitoring center and an alert to the mobile app.
Let Mike introduce you to the simple, smart (and funny!) ways that Frontpoint does home security differently by watching this short video.
